Hi well I was planning to buy a psp slim since it could hook up to the tv and play =D and I want to know a couple things.
I want to get the slim black one and it just came to the shelves about 5 months After the silver and the darth vader one can it get cfw?
and is the phat psp lcd screen better or the slim one better?
and is there anything else I need to know about the slim like the cons of it?

Thanks in Advance

Yes, the slim can have custom firmware. Im not sure about the LCD, but I know that the phat psp is THREE times more sturdy than the slim.

That has nothing goin to do with psp. Its for ur TV. One of them has three cables, that is for standard. THe other one is for better resolution. Check ur tv which it supports.

if you want to play on the tv, you need the component cables (R/G/B) and a 480p tv.

the regular composite cables (Y/W/R) only views the xmb.

cables only works for the psp slim.

if your tv isn't 480p, then you can't play games on the tv.

if the tv is 480p capable, then you can use it to play psp games on it.

i have the original 3.60 slim, and it's running 3.90 m33-3 with no problems. ALL psp's can run custom firmware, as of now.

your tv can have R/G/B, but it might not be 480p enabled.

if it can't display progressive scan (aka 480p), then you cannot play games on it.

best is to google your tv model and see if it's 480p capable.

480i is regular tv, and is lower than 480p. if the tv is only 480i, then that means the tv is not capable of viewing psp games.

no. it's the tv hardware, so a new tv is needed if you want to play psp games on the tv.
