Photoshop cs3 problem

    Hi there
    Im having a weird problem with Photoshop CS3, i install it, activate it, open a new document, no problems but as soon as i use the text tool and click in the document window, all my menus turn grey and i can access anything? If anyone know the reason why this is happening please let me know, I have checked the mode and it is set to rgb, Many Thanks in advance!!

    wot happens when u type? nothing?
    Im Running Vista Home Premium 2 and i have no probs?

    thanks for your responce, well i can type, but then, when i check the menu's, they have all turned grey and i cant access anything from them, because i cant select anything

    Menu's being the "File menu's" and their options.
