Cannot add filter to video

    First, I opened the video file and then selected FILTER to add the subtitle. But after selecting the subtitle file, the path name in TEXTSUB setting box is blank.

    I was able to do so for other videos. May I know what could be the problem?

    If it's a .srt file, open it in Notepad and make sure it gets re-saved in 'ansi' format (File - Save as - Encoding).
