I bought a PS3 last week, i watched 3 blu-rays till now (Spiderman 3, Untreacable and 300), liked the quality alot. I notice on my 3 movies that the image was kinda grainy, my ps3 is hooked up via HDMI to my sharp 46D64U. Is it normal to have somekind of grain in the image? When i play games (GT5 PRO) they arent any grains...

Maybe my Blu ray settings are wrong, any help would be appreciated.

Any grain you see in the picture was meant to be there especially in the high-def release of 300.

The High Def Digest Review of 300

I'd rather have the grain that was in the original film rather than artificially introduced DNR (digital noise reduction) or EE (edge enhancement).
