    Hi,

I'm having problems converting a Xvid to DVD using TMPGEncPlus.

I've followed the guide to the letter, but when I get to the converting bit I get this error message...

Read error occured at address 0040209e of module 'TMPGEnc.exe' with 02532758

Can anyone tell me why it wont let me do it?

Also sometimes it doesnt give the error message, sometimes it just shuts itself down, then I have to start all over again.

    Any help...Please.

There are other threads about this problem but whatever. You need the right Xvid codec, otherwise TMPGEnc will NOT encode it. Download the right Xvid codec and try what linkin said. That should fix your problem. If not post back.

    Cheers.
