    Hello everybody.

I have just built a desktop gaming computer today.

Everything seemed to work perfectly, except when I tried to install the OS. I have the windows vista ultimate x64 I got from an iso. I burnt it and set the IDE dvd burner I have to boot first. I turned on the computer with the vista dvd inside and it went to the vista installation stuff. During installation, it freezes when i am about 30% through "expanding files". The entire screen is frozen, I can't operate my mouse. I am forced to manually reboot after 10 minutes of waiting for something to happen. After that, I get a "Bootmgr missing press ctrl alt del to reboot" and I do it, and it keeps on coming up. I also tried to set the hdd to boot first, still not solved.

    Can anyone help?

sounds like your ISO is corrupt.
