I've got the digivox 2.800, boot version 01, 01.01.07 For the last couple of weeks channels have been disappearing and this evening everything went. I put 0000 into factory settings to try and install the channels again but it hasn't worked. I'm a complete stranger to all this but could someone point me in the right direction of how to reinstall the channels.
factory settings-ok-0000 to delete -ok- english power off box for a min/on,-autoscan ur provider-*** found-exit out -menu-system info-ok-1004 -emu key to on and exit out.
hi cactikid, Thank for your post. I tried that and it didn't work. Do you have anymore suggestions? Am I doomed to the miserable piped tv from now on?
did u get a list of channels up when scanning, yes, emu on yes, power off box then on,wait for message on screen,if it sticks 0n 0% TRY CHANNEL 66
I tried your first set of instructions again this morning. The bf did tried them the other day but said he didn't know what the emu key was so didn't complete it. I got as far as here ok I couldn't figure this out at all. Where do I put in the 1004 code and what/where is the emu key? We are stuck with the installation menu so can't even get channel 66. I appreciate all your help on this...
Menu - press ok look down & you will see system info, press ok press 1004 on the remote you will now be in the CAS menu go down to "key emu" & turn it on Go to "set default key" press ok & exit out to channels
thanks again for the advice and info. Alas, we are still without digivox tv... Has anyone any more suggestions or should I just throw the bloody thing out?
ok start again.coaxial cable into cable input power on box installation=ur provider select automatic scan usually takes 2-3 mins *** channels found exit back to menu select system info on remote press ok1004 that is a secret code to change page go to key emu off and switch to on exit out of system go to say channel 66 blank screen wait message updating 0% 20% etc let it run and when picture comes on thats it.
no, I'm getting nothing at all. after noelyf explained about the emu key I followed those steps and still got no channels when I scanned.
