I'm trying to convert files with MP3 audio to DivX using the DivX converter. I can play these files in WMP, MPC, etc.

It just happens that the DivX converter gives an error message "Cannot encode [file] because it is missing the MPEG-1 Audio Codec"

    ???

Nothing found on a Google search.

    Thanks for any help.

Try this:Click 'Start' 'Run' and then type: "regsvr32 quartz.dll" (don't type the quote marks) then click 'OK'.
    Should get this message.

    Thanks, but it didn't work.
    A DivX re-install didn't also.
