Hello, 1st and 4most, I'd 2 thnk all N ADVNCE for your help and responses. 2ndly, this is my vry 1st thread and I NEED HELP!! I recently purchased Nero 8 b/c of burning issues I had with Nero 7. I'm tryna mk a DVD movie while burning it on a Memorex DVD + R DL disc. Having no prb mkng the movie compilation, I run n2 an issue when tryna do the final burn. I have tried changing settings and EVEN swtchd to the "burn at 1ce" optn. I swtchd the option to DVD 9 so I could fit more onto a lrgr disc. Here's what occurs: 1st it ejects my disc thn just runs. No notice of creating menus or anything. Insrtng the disc back n, I wait a the real-time timer runs but no prgrss. I initially had issues with burning a 4.7g disc as well, til I swtchd to "burn at 1ce." I really need help!

first of all SPEAK ENGLISH! Stop with the text messaging lingo! doesn't fly here and it's hard to understand and read! very annoying.

you are using the worst DL disk you can get! try using Verbatim DLs and burn at 2.4x..... you should have better luck with the better media.

Memorex discs are pretty shoddy. Try with Verbatim discs and see what happens.
What DVD burner do you have? What's its name?

My DVD burner is Sony DVD RW DW-Q120A and I will try Verbatim. I did not know some discs don't work as well.

Ok ..Well I have had big problems with Nero 8..each time I used shrink in conjuntion with it ..the result was all of the dvd chapters were mixed plus the films was starting 15 minutes into the start...Also on the player itself..."unknown disc please check disc" and then it was ejected..A friend of mine was having the same problem.after many wasted discs!!! I uninstalled nero 8 and put back on Nero 7 ultra...and now everything is burning and working fine...:-)
