Lo, just found a code for dvbseller.com the guys that supply the dreambox 500, 600 and 7020 etc... I know a few of us have bought from these guys before, but didnt know there was any discount code.

The code is "dvbsellerinvite" which gets you another 4% off. I just used it and it works great:) Bog dreambox 500C for £55 each..cheapest I've ever seen. If someone knows cheaper, please post so we can all benifit.

Some perfer Dreambox over starview. I know I do and yes do same if not more:)

Yes they are £39.99 plus shipping. I've bought a few and including shipping they worked out at £55 each is what I mean in above post.

They also have the stronger screwin type tuners, which is much better than the pushin type others are selling for £100 each

ohhhh i see a few of my friends were going to get starview boxes because i can update them ...i might tell them to get the dreambox instead...are they easy to do

The simplest boxes IMHO are the Eurovox and Starview, so if you want simplicity I would advise you to stick with those, if you want to do other thing besides just watch TV then maybe go down the Dreambox, Dbox2 route.

As far as I know the DM500 series stopped being made by DM nearly 2 years ago. Anyone selling new 500 series will be selling chinese clones. Some sell them for £100+ and dont tell you they are clones as very hard to tell the difference.
