I've successfully installed windows xp pro sp2 on my computer, I want to change my username from administrator to something else. I've gone into the user accounts menu's and searched around but theres no option to change my username, does anyone know why this is?

I tried to do that too but i don't think you can. the only time you get to change it is when it asked you when you first installed the os. from all i kno it can't be done but i may be wrong.

    1. start/run/type regedit

    2. Open HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\ SOFTWARE\ Microsoft\ Windows NT\ CurrentVersion (just highlight CurrentVersion, dont expand)

    3. To change the values of the RegisteredOrganization, RegisteredOwner, or ProductId, simply double-click on them and type what ever name you want.
