rumor it has been jailbreak by dev team, however it hasnt been release yet, should be release soon. give it few days i would say
A couple of things would be interesting with the new 3g. Apparently the sim is not removable and specific to the phone. So has anyone heard if you will be able to jailbreak it and program the sim to a sim from another phone? I am on the AT&T network, but I would like to be able to jailbreak the 3g, program it to my existing sim, install 3rd party apps (that apple wont support) and keep my existing phone plan. I already know that if i buy phones such as blackberrys or treos, and do not tell at&t, then i get the full use of the phone and no additional charges. Apparenly AT&T cannot tell the difference from an older phone with media net, and a treo with full internet capability. Any thoughts?????
hmm.. someone might have done it. If you look on ebay you can see people selling 3g jailbroken phones.
