I've been looking for days for a way to do this . So far, I use Direct show dump to turn the file into .mpeg, then I've been using VideoReDo to cut out commercials, then I use AutoGK (if I can get it to work right) or Any Video Converter to change it into .avi for the zen.

I love VideoReDo, but I don't want to pay $50 just to cut out commercials. Do any of you have any ideas? Also, how much loss am I getting using all these steps? Any better ways?

I have looked at that, but I DO like the auto commercial find on VideoReDo. I would just like to find on cheaper. Any others?
