your going to need a data cable then download this software http://www.hackthev3.com/zip/unlocker.zip you will also need this program from the motorola website to install the drivers for your phone follow this follow this guide http://www.hackthev3.com/before_you_start_modding_motorola_v3.html#advice but dont download the thing it says to get it from here http://www.motorola.com/Hellomoto/Common/Default/USB_Driver_32.zip and then your going to start motounlocker then you going to put your phone into flash mode to do this press the power button and really quickyl press and hold the * and # button then connect the phone to your computer with the data cable then use the program then push the connect phone in flash mode button click yes on the box that pops up then it should say rfone found connected successfully done good luck if you run into problems just post it here
