So I want to buy a HD cable box that will work with comcast after readign abotu cable cards I am so confused now..... Right now I want to just buy one and understand what ti takes to get it to work on with my service I can "play" with ti alter when I have time/money ^_~ besides that can you hax cable card like dish(just curious)? I looked up cable haxing god its been ages since I did that do inline filters really work to unblock channels? Anyone want to update me on descrambles, I like to keep up with the info at least LOL lil out of touch with dish haxs and card writers to if you got any good info links I'll be happy for them ^^..now if you'll excuse zippy it seems to be past his bed time 0-o.... you want to get the comcast box motorola 6412 HD/DVR it allows you to dump all your video on a computer via firewire ..... external space is also available because of the SATA ports on the back of the box http://replayguide.sourceforge.net/dct6412/ i just got this box so my experience + knowledge doesn't go past this box...i'll report back when things change with my box -tripplite
