Hi guys i finally got my new rig to work specs q6600 hd 4850 P5K LGA 775 2 gigs of ram vista ultimate although my rig is not the BEST computer in the world I know it should not have problem playing oblivion I posted this issue in the oblivion offical forum but looks like they have become too lazy to help me Speculations: Onboard sound device(I have it and minority of pc gamer WHO has onboard sound device also have problem with oblivion) When using oblivion Launcher it says it cannot recognize the graphics card(??Maybe that is the problem??) Even in 640x800 low setting the Oblivion Lags(Massive stuttering) What I've done/An attempt to fixation Clean Boot Update Video card driver(although its new...) Installing quiet feet mod(i mean just drag it in the data file..right!!?) reinstalling Well nothing has worked..
Check the monitor cable to the video card. unplug it then replug it. this happened to me before. Your computer should have no problem at all. I get 55fps at the highest settings on my 7600GT OC. Maybe defective video card? Like I said it happened to me I just unplged the cable and plugged it back in and it has been fine ever since.
