    cud some one please help i hav a starveiw box that pauses wen watching it then turns it self of. any body got any idea wot cud the prob cheers

    Press Menu > System Information and tell us what the API is please as you might need to update it.

    Also

    You will need to know if you have a clone or genuine

    Count the vents on top

    18x7 = Clone
    25x7 = Genuine
    13x7 = 1st Generation

    Also looking from the front
    Scart to the left = Clone
    Scart to the right = Genuine

    Also try this


    Menu > Factory Setting
    PIN 0000
    OK to delete

    Turn box off at the back for a minute and turn back on

    English > Installation
    Choose Provider etc
    Automatic Scan
    Press OK
    Channels found
    Exit

    Press Menu then 1570
    Turn EMU key ON

    Exit , exit , exit

    put new firmware in and wen i do automatic scan it stops around the 80 t0 90% mark

    trying to put software in again but it wont goto standby so i do wat its says in the other thread it gets 2 100% burning flash. pc sounds as though its gana take off the it say flash failed its starting to do me heed in now

    it now says download complete but the box wont reboot i think ive nact it now because i wont be able to get that software of an do a re flash now wil a

    Flash it with the Crypstar - V 1.4 - Core 2.57 bin, to be on the safe side & make sure you are using the GTrom 4.00.

    Menu > 1570
    Turn key emu ON
    Set Default key > press ok
    Exit to s*y sports & let it update

    put 2.57 on but it still has green light flashing left to right and the box wont switch on wat can i do now have i broke it

    yes. it keeps downloading then says burning flash then complete reboots but green lights still flashes and doesnt go into standby. looks as thoug its ganing in the bin
