First off, sorry if this is the wrong place to post this... i didnt know where else to...

    Anyway.

Ive got a eurovox 2008 which has worked great since i got it (about 1 year ago), i also have N*L broadband.

All worked fine til last week when my internet kept dropping out. Engineer came out today to take a look so i disconnected the eurovox and splitter and set it up as its supposed to be... and it worked fine!

After he left i tried connecting the eurovox/splitter back up... still no internet, disconnected the eurovox - internet is back. tried with different cables, no change. I even tried [wall -> splitter -> modem] with the eurovox disconnected from the splitter, no change.

So now i can either have internet, or eurovox, not both it seems.

    Anyone else had similar problems?
Could this be fixed with a new splitter? (my current one is an oldish NTL one as my bro used to work for them)
Do i need to boost the signal, if its possible, and if so how and what would i need?

Any help or advice will be greatly welcomed as this is depressing, lol.

Sounds like the old splitter is the bad part of the equation.

try not to slpit them but if you have to have the splitter closer to the modem than the box and use a good splitter get one of the cable guy
