Just asking because i sent in my modded 360 to get repaired and my serial number did not change.Im guessing they didn't fix it but it was worth a try since they replaced my old modded one.So has anyone here actually received their original console in working conditions?

Sent mine for repair 3 times already, the first i got another 360, the second and third it was the same one
the second time i Wrote "ShitBox360" on it, when i got it back it had the same serial number + there was traces of what i wrote, they just cleaned it
BTW maybe you got the same because it was MODDED, i'm guessing it wasn't fixed, though they ocasionally fix them

I sent mine 2 weeks ago got it back on wednesday with new motherboard and was still modded new microsoft seal on it too, same serial number and same scratch on the caseing...

Got my 360 back today with the same serial number but with a "new" motherboard(made in December of 06).Im happy they accepted my voided warranty again but damn they gave me a lite-on drive :(

HA! Is that why FNR3 is the last game played?!?! My buddy had his come back the other day and the only original he had was FNR3. Thought it was funny to see that was also your last game played.

Heck no! I'm on my third and the 2 I sent in they just sent me new ones. This last time though they sent me a 30 day trial to Live! Whoa! Way to keep your customer's happy, huh? Trying to buy us off with a trial membership? So I had to re-mod them and so far no trouble with #3 (knock wood). I swear there is a 6 month fail chip in there somewhere. Because that's all I can get out of them.

Sent in 2 Xbox 360 and just got one back yesterday. Had the same serial # and everything and to top it off they didnt even fix the damm thing. It had the 3 ring problem. Its like they took it out the box and put it back in another box and shipped it back. Called them and told them WTF. I got my same colsol back still all F*up. They just emailed me a UPS tracking # so I can just go ship it back to them and wait another 2 weeks.
As for the other one I will get today and hope that one works and got fixed, but difference is that this one getting today had the DVD Drive wont read games, but called it in as 3Ring problem.
