can some1 please help me

    i havent been able to use my desk top in over a year and i would like some1s help on how to reformat my computer. your time and help would be greatly appreaciated

    More info please. Type of computer, What OS and do you have a OS disc or not ? Might want to know what is not working ( does it not turn on, blue screen, slow ? ) before you just re-format.

    i know i dont have an os disk and how do i check what os my computer is?

    click "start" - right click on "My Computer" > "Properties " and OS is in the general tab. What model computer is it - dell - compaq - gateway ?
