OK, So I have a 30g iPod and a 20g iPod. I want to use my 20g iPod as an external HD, but it won't let me transfer more than 4 gigs of data to it (.iso and stuff). Is there a way to take off this restriction?

You should not have that restriction. Do you have a PC and are using File Explorer? If so, check properties make sure you have that much free space.

I looked around on google, and people have said that apple puts that restriction on the HD for some reason. I just need to know how to fix it.
