ya i saw it but was to afraid of clicking on it, lol. figured i dont really need another 360 yet, and didnt want to get my crap stolen either.
Already a thread about that site. http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/685000 I can't believe AD is promoting it.
and yet a week later, the ad is still up. really AD whats the deal here? they throw a huge fit over a pop up ad, but then will not do a single thing about a scam site???
wabashman, read this link as drd comments about this. http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/684378
@drd i linked myself into a big circle. going through 3-4 threads and i somehow managed to get back to this one, but i didnt really see anything that i am sure besides myself everyone wants to know. why are we supporting this particular site? i know we all have to pay bills, but i am sure there are plenty of other legit people that would be willing to put up some cash for that spot we see everyday. so could maybe some of the mods chip in and let us know why this is REALLY still up? i am not trying to be rude by all means, i just thought we didnt support scams? thanks in advance for letting us all know. EDIT: SOMEONE GET A SCREENSHOT OF THAT BANNER PLZ I AM NOT SEEING IT NOW.
Once again, get a screenshot every time you see an "unwanted" ad appearing on our site, so I can at least guess where it comes from (AdSense, Netshelter, ...) and take appropriate action (==ask the ad network responsible of selling that ad to take it down). I don't live in the U.S., so I wont see most of the targeted ads, as they're usually geo-targeted to U.S. or UK.
