I have a G-force 5500 video card with s-video and VGA.I want to hook it to my new 47" HDTV.It has HDMI,DVI,S-Video,and RGB inputs.Can i hook VGA out of the video to RGB in on the hdtv.The RGB in on the HDTV says PC in.OR would it be better to go VGA to component in?
Iam just going to use it surf the net.

The component connection will probably give you a clearer picture. But you can get away with just using the VGA connection if you are just surfing the net.
