I know it's probably been asked thousands of times, but i'm not having luck searching. I'll take a link to a site but is it possible to download directly from the internet on psp a video, say i'm searching yahoo vids, or from a web page? It askes to download then when I check it's just corrupt data. Always say in mp4 format. Can someone help or do I have to use a converter everytime via pc?

yer you can but there are different codecs of mp4 although it says mp4 it may be a xvid codec for the video

codecs that i know work on the psp:

xvid
h.264 - podcast (AVC)
mpeg4

other than that i havnt tested other formats but thats the problem with mp4 format.

my phone supports mp4 but only when the codec is h.264 but it supports .3gp with mpeg4 codec its very odd and anoying
