starview3 cableandsat.com...anyone bought from them?

Hi....iv ordered some boxes from the above company,but I have now heard some rumours that if you have any faulty boxes from them...its hard to get in touch with them for replacement...anyone have their address or tel number?anyone bought from them?what's your experience?

Bought 3 delivered yesterday am ordered monday midnite.Only problem i had was wrong software that i just sorted.Factory settings delete then load 7.09 software then you are sorted ,otherwise yu cant access the emu to turn it on.

 

So basically ur saying they work ok,just put it the normal gtrom 7.09 software from eamos library as usual and they work fine??I assume they come blank...if that's the case,I'll give it a try,got 5 coming today....so what do you do if they have some fault in the hardware?where do you return them?

 

They work fine so long as you put 7.09 on them as to where to return them dont know as invoice says they came from Spain

 

Check their T&C for any problems on their website .

 

by the way the price you will pay UPS will be cheaper than what was agreed with Cablesat, I was quoted €248 but only paid €232 so make sure you have spare loose cash

Also,if their from spain,what's their address?tel fone?it must be written in the invoice?

 

You folks do know that Spain is an avenue for clone boxes.

But they are marketing them as genuine boxes,and even have an ad on this forums main page!
Check it out,it has genuine splattered all over the pics...I'm surprised no one else has bought from them?????

True...but I was under the impression that the firmware 7.09e would only work on genuine boxes,not clones?according to the eamos library....

 

No clone killing firmware out for The Super........yet

A friend bought one from C & S. Loaded 8.00 software and it worked OK.

 

How recent are we talikng about?how long has it been working for?

 

I would not buy from them again. Faulty box sent and no way to return it. All emails are being ignored. Don't deal with this company.Pay the extra money and get a reputable dealer.

 

i bought one last month and it's ok (touch wood).However i ordered another a week and a half ago and heard nothing,i've sent them 3 or 4 emails and no reply.perhaps their customer service dept. is on vacation,lucky it's COD.very annoying though.

I ordered some boxes from them on 4th September and haven't got them yet. I've emailed them twice and not got a reply yet. If they eventually do turn up i won't be paying for them as i've already ordered elsewhere where i can be sure they will arrive fairly quickly.
