My computer takes about 2-3 minutes to log on to Windows Vista. I know this isn't a big deal, but sometimes when I'm in a hurry and I need to get onto the internet quickly, this is too much. Like a pocket surfer, I want to be able to boot straight into my Internet Browser (Firefox), without having to load Vista. If anyone has any ideas, or knows how I could find out how to do this then, I would greatly appreciate it. I promise that if I find out myself, I will be straight here to share it with anyone else should they desire the same. Thanks for any help!

i dont think you can boot into a program and not load vista... so i wouldnt be able to help you on that, but i can help in speeding up your start-up...
    1)Hit start
    2)hit run
3)Type msconfig and then hit enter
4)On the new window look for the start-up tab and click on it.
5)Now you should see a list of all the programs that start up whenever you boot...uncheck unecesary programs like messengers ect (the only items i keep checked are virus protection software)
6)once you are satisfied with your startup programs hit apply.
7)Then it should prompt you to reboot now or later...you can do either or.

Yeah... thanks for your help, but that will still take a good few minutes to load up. Thanks anyway.
