(Different Problem) S-Video*

    I hook up an S-Video cable to my PC and T.V. On start up I get the Windows XP logo and POST. Then after that my T.V. screen goes to verticle lines, no picture at all. Anyone?

    Have you tried setting your output to the tv's resolution and frequency.. something like 720x576 (800x600 is close enough for crt tv's with some overscan) @ 50 or 60 Hz?
    s-video out is usually configurable as monitor2 on most nvidia and ati cards.
