First I tried WinDVD 9 but it gives me an error when trying to open my AVCHD iso.

Then I tried PowerDVD 8 Ultra Edition and while it DOES work, I can't get subs to display at all. This happens with 3 different movies so I don't think the iso's are at fault. The video displays fine (and looks amazing) and I can easily jump between audio streams, but softsubs do not appear at all.

I guess this is a 2 part question, then.

    1) Does anyone know how to resolve this subtitle issue with PowerDVD? I like the app aside from this one thing.

    2) If not, do you know of another program capable of playing AVCHD vid on PC including audio and sub options?

    Thanks!

Umm, not sure what AVCHD is exactly, is that from an XDCAM?? I use Media Player Classic with CCCP to play my HD media files. Maybe give that a try.
