My PSP won't read the game, it just loads forever and eventually says "game could not be read". Is there anything I can do to fix it? if it helps it was dropped in sand a few days ago but I got all of it out.

Hmmm, that seems to be a common problem. I help 2 kids out, and both had that problem. At first I thought it might have been caused by their tweaking custom firmware - but after using Pandora and reviewing all the settings, I couldn't get the UMD to work. I've read that dropping a PSP will kill your UMD sometimes - so I suspect the UMD drive would have to be replaced.

If your PSP is under warranty - I'd suggest sending it into Sony. Don't tell them it was dropped though. Otherwise, you could try and buy a UMD drive from dealextreme.com and try to replace it yourself. But I read that it's very difficult to do.

Well I'm pretty sure i don't have the warrany anymore, I've had it for about 3 years or so. I heard there's a laser cleaner for the PSP anyone know if that could fix the problem?

are you sure? mine came with a 5 year warranty ... maybe you should check
