LCD wall mount screw size

I just got a new Samsung 40" LCD and it did not come with screws to attach it to the wall mount. The wall mount did not come with them either. So, what size scews do I need? I was told they are standard, but I don't have a clue if they are or not.

 

They will proabaly be 6mm x 20mm long or 8mm x 20mm long.
You should be able to find these at your local hardware store.
I have a few extra screws from my pedestal mount I'll confirm the size when I get home and post you an update.

 

Bigger and longer is better. And the biggest and longest that will fit is best of all.

 

LOL, You don't want them to long, a screw sticking out through your lcd screen dosen't look good.

they fit perfect
