    Alright...I'm having an issue with a server build...as soon as windows setup gets to the part right before the first reboot (after it installs its files) it shuts itself down...every thing works great until that point during setup...

    I've changed out the motherboard, the ram, the HDD and reset the BIOS...what would cause a major hardware failure like that I have no idea...any suggestions or anything at this point...I'm stuck.

    my guess is that probably an error with the installation disk and not your hardware check to see if your disk has smudges or finger prints on it or scratches

    you cant do much about scratches but try cleaning the disk

    usually something like that isn't a hardware failure

    It was an hardware issue (the motherboard) hehe surprisingly it was an intel chipset...
