hi all ive recently noticed without even realising that my pc doesnt even beep now, it use to boot up and beep but now it doesnt even do this , does anyone know why this does not happen anymore? any ideas? many thanks if you reply
Loose connection or faulty case speaker? As a test, if you're using XP, press a key combination to enable an accessibility mode, for example press shift five times to enable stickykeys, or press together Alt+Left Shift+Print screen. Hit cancel when the box appears - if the speaker is working you should hear either a slight click or an ascending tone. If you hear nothing at all then your PCspeaker may not be functioning.
