I have just installed Battlefield 1942 on my PC. However, when I play a level, some sounds are messed up. For example, some weapons dont even have sound, and some planes have choppy sound. I currently have the Sound FX 2 with surround sound speakers.
2 things 1 is it on all levels that it does that or just a certain one if that is the problem reinstall bf1942 2 the other thing is go to your sound card providers website and find your card and download the latest drivers if you dont know your sound card open start run dxdiag message will pop up click yes then go to the sound tab run is also in start/all programs/accessories/run
I have all of the required and most recent drivers for my sound card. And, in every level, there is always one or two guns that do not have sound. However, I have not had this problem before, and I have tried reinstalling battlefield 1942 before.
