I'll keep it short as possible. Recorded a video, edited it at school, finalized (or so I thought) it at school, then put it thru apple compressor so I could take it home on dvd data disc. The 2 files outputted to an ac3 and m2v. I didn't think much of it, but when I got home I was going to pop them in vegas and snip a few seconds off the end. well, of course I learned that Sony Vegas 8 doesn't support these formats.

Does anyone have a suggestion on how I can 'mux' (think that is the right term) back together into a single mpeg file / quicktime file?

    Thanks

I think the free version of Tmpgenc 2.5 can mux these back to mpg.
