halo 3 energy sword

does anybody know the secret of how to win in a game of slayer with a energy sword on energy sword battle? i know there is some secret and my friend wont tell me. when i face him i click the r trigger and sense we pretty much click it at the same time neither of us die. then we both go into the red with our heath and while i am clicking the r trigger trying to kill him he does something and his swings get faster and then kills me.

 

use the r trigger than the B button then r trigger and in that sequence and that should help

 

B then B (BBBBBBBBB) works better then R - B. Just be in range
