Hey guys, my computer just installed SP3 and for some reason the audio wont work anymore. I am using a Creative/Audio Blaster soundcard and 5.1 surround sound speakers. And now after installing the service pack, the computer uses this realtek HD audio driver and manager and it doesnt detect my speakers which are hooked up to my soundcard in the back of the computer. What is the solution to fixing this? Ive tried uninstalling the HD audio driver, reinstalling my creative/audigy sound driver, doing a system restore, etc, and the audio still isnt working. any help would be appreciated.

my goodness, TriggerX. you did NOT say what version of Windows you were using. SP3 for what Windows OS? Your computer should use either Realtek HD Audio or Creative Sound Blaster audio driver, NOT BOTH!

aye, i figured that out yesterday, thanks =P i am using xp btw. anyways i went to device manager and then audio drivers. I disabled the Realtek HD Audio driver and instead used my soundcard settings. a good lesson for anyone as silly as me. problem solved
