Hey guys is this a good buy? Sony NEC Optiarc DVD±RW burner AD-7200S, 20x, SATA, Black, bulk I want to be able to read and backup all DVDs I have, I was wondering if the fact that it's made by Sony matters when backing up DVDs with Sony protections like ARCooS etc?
I'm in the market for a new burner, and these are on my list for consideration... Lots of "improved" firmware available for NEC drives, and reliability wise they are I would say above average.
