Problem With Me, DVDshrink or Computer? (or all three)

Okay i dont know about you guys.. but when i run the backup in dvdshrink.. okay.. it goes all the way through.. then when the dvd is done backed up to my harddrive.. then it "somtimes" says "checking discs" "please insert disc to rwrite" funny thing is.. i cancel it and restart the dvd shrink again and with the same dvd-r it works but it doesnt get stuck on "please insert dvd-r disc" weird!! and its driving me crazy cuz then i gotta start all over again and download it onto the harddrive again?? OH and another thing i noticed.. when you go to the options before backup you can choose the speed to write the disic? everytime i restart it it alwasy shows a diffrend speed.. first it shows "4x 8x Maxium" i put it on 8x.. then when i restart it once it gets stuck.. the options are "on the same dvd-r" 4.1x 6.1x maxium"
WTF is going on!??? how can i just make it work the first time throu???
is there somthing wrong wit dvd shrink or.. the retarted ass hp computer ?? i got a HP m7330n

Are you trying to burn with Nero?
When you click on backup you will see Select backup traget:
Does it say Hard Disk Folder?

No its on HP Dvd writer 840b
and im using dvd shrink.. using nero to burn it..

What version of Nero are you using?
If you are not looking to burn, uncheck Enable burning with Nero in the preferences.

What is the make and model # of your drive?
What's the name of the discs you're using?
Give all the info you can about your pc.

Backup your files to your HDD only.
THEN
Turn on your DMA!
THEN
Burn with Nero. ( ImgBurn would be better)
Then post the log file so we can get some information.

Ok first off.. what is DMA??
and second.. how do you turn it on???
third: Why do i have to do all that.. when all i want to do is back it up wit dvdshrink and then burn it with nero using dvdshrink

Sorry but I will not do that.
I'm not trying to be cruel in anyway but is would seem to me that someone who runs his own forum would have a decent knowledge of computers. My guess is that your computer system needs a real good cleaning with programs such as CCleaner, Malawarebytes and IObit Advanced Windows Care. They are free. When all the cleaning is done, defrag.
Then get that DMA set!
And make sure you have the latest firmware for your 3 year old burner.
