Damn, a 1tb drive and you're wondering why you're having problems.

A quick google search brings up this
    http://xbmc.org/forum/showthread.php?t=13821

    Your error code:

9 - kernel - HDD parameters (PIO/DMA/or size {debug}, certain size minimum is required for debug)

Not very common error, please try another harddisk.

There's a few threads around here with 1TB success stories, it could just be that the xbox can't work with that particular drive..

Only way I know is with a chip and a specific bios.. softmod doesn't cut it.

Philips drives cause error9 with certain ide related faults too.. just so you know.

i have an ide to sata adapter, but it did not work. tried two different types & from manufacturers - i am just going to keep streaming instead of transferring my whole library over.
