Iv just got a 500gb hard drive for my xbox how do I format it right so it doesnt become corrupt? What are the Instructions to Format the drive?

Anyway, your information is incorrect, 500GB drives work 100% fine, and i believe 750GB and 1TB drives do also (although i haven't used more than 500GB myself)

Follow a hdd upgrade tutorial, it involves using xboxhdm.

Adamshrek you shouldn't give advice when you don't know what you're talking about. If you format a partition over 137gb it should be formatted with 32k clusters to avoid corrupution. Where did you even get 160 from?

Eh it's alright but youtube xbox modding vids get you into trouble. I've had more than 20 people contact me on youtube because of this guys horrible instructions. "Just agree to everything it says" usually gets you into trouble.
