I am trying to burn a few of my dvds, i have not had any problems before but am now getting the "Data error" (cyclic redundancy check)

I have never received this message and have no idea what it means. Any help would be great?

I am using Nero and DVD Shrink 3.1

Also is it possible to burn MPEGs into a DVD and watch it on a DVD player?

    Thanks ahead of time

    Hi jdavis,
cyclic redundancy problems are usually caused by your source disc being scratched or dirty.
Somthing is interfering with your drives ability to read your disc.
