Can I update to ATI Catalyst from a ATI Rage 128 Ultra ?

Hi Everyone,
I have a Dell Dimension 4550 computer, that runs WinXpPro SP3.
My computer came pre-installed with a 32 MB ATI Rage Ultra display drivers that are 5-yrs. old .
My question is can I update from my current video configuration , to the new ATI Catalyst Software suite , without hosing up my computer ?

Most of ati's drivers and software are very intuitive if it can't work with your system it will tell u.
