So somehow I lost my word application and when I try to go back into time machine to go get it I must be doing something wrong!

I go back and highlight and hit restore but when I add it to the dock and double click I get an Error.

    Thanks for the help

    Which version of word???

    Let me explain.

Microsoft office 2008 has a new auto uninstall feature if you have a illegal copy of office 2008 word or any other 2008 applications and install service pack 1 and it finds your serial to be blacklisted it will delete it.

Also in microsoft office 2004 edition the application is tied to a bunch of hidden files and without those hidden files restored as well the application will just crash.

Thanks for the help it worked! Now here is another question maybe you could help me with?

If I put something in the trash and want to delete it completely but every time I open the trash and right click on what I want to delete it said I have to delete the whole trash. Is there a way to only delete a few items?

No in fact when you delete from trash it is all or nothing..

However i can recommend a good application for getting locked items trashed off your machine it is called trash it for mac a nice freeware application that dumps your trash and even secure deletes the trash so no worrys about someone recovering data out of your trash file.
