eurovox max v

    hi folks, just got a new eurovox max v, it has nothing on it, how do i get it up and running? it is connected via a null modem cable from maplins L71BT PLEASE HELP

    Hi Folks, Having problems with mu eurovox max box. It was working fine then it started acting up. On all the channels it has a no signal message. Can anyone help?

    if it went suddenly check to see if one of the connections is loose!

    chack all connections. all fine. Put NTL feed into tv. works fine. Done a powerscan. No joy. Got a starview box. Stll saying no signal

    you must have a connection in the wrong place!!!

    put ntl feed directly into TV. working fine.

    Is it an MMDS feed, i.e. aerial on your roof?

    NTL feed. It works during the day but after 8 pm it has a no signal message on all channels. Would it be anything to do ntl signal being to strong or to weak?

    Should have said that in your OP. You have a cable connection and not an MMDS feed? I need to be sure.

    Could be a weak signal due to your location from the street cab. Or a leech on your line. Have you tried both boxes from the direct feed where the cable enters your house without any splitters?

    And yet its perfect until 8pm? Do you have a Pace box supplied by N** and is that OK?

    it can go on and off during the day but after 8pm it is totally gone. it's strange.

    Well its a CC issue then. Call them out and get them to sort it, obviously removing all "other" boxes first.

    But the problem is the NTL feed is working on the TV. Is hard to call them out then.
