well I own a vista laptop and just today I closed it and it went on sleep, I open it back up and the screen is black , only the mouse can be seen, no matter how many times I reboot the computer its still the same thing I can't see icons or even right-click on the background,i had the same problem before, and system restore did not help, so I restored it to factory state, I don't want to do this a 5th time, I can run command prompt but thats it. So any suggestions? PS: typing this on my iPhone, its so hard to type
I get the command prompt running by booting "safe mode with command prompt" when I turn on the computer. yea I have tried booting safe mode but its just the same thing, it dosent ask me anything about windows, it just load the computer like normal but when it gets to the desktop its just a black screen with the mouse.
i had the same prob about 2 weeks ago. what i did was select the one that say load last working status
