   I am in USA on vacation and i am planning to buy an IPhone 16GB and use it in Italy, where i live.
   Will it work? Do i need to do any modification in order to use it?

   First of all if you buy an iPhone in the U.S. you will be on AT&T's contract for 2 years, so this isn't a matter of it will work.
