Hello, i need to know if i'm going to have to buy a programmer because when i put my chip on the xapter it lights up but when i insert the wire into the d0 hole and turn my xbox on it turns off and on and then the led blinks red and green. This is not because of a bad flash or anything like that because i had it working fine before flashed with evox m8 and with xbmc dashboard but when i took it apart to place the modchip in my friends xbox so i wouldn't have to softmod it didn't work and now doesn't work in mine, it did before when i installed his dashboard but somehow his hard drive crashed and the dashboard doesn't load and gets error 16. I have also cleaned the d0 points but no luck. It works without the modchip and with it on but doesn't boot my bios. What do you think might be the problem? Do i need to buy a programmer and where can i find one reasonable priced? and also is there any that use a usb connection? Thanks.
When you installed it on your friends system did you have an aid or slayers disk in the dvd drive? If not I'm pretty sure that was the problem. You should try again with the disk in and then go and install the dashboards so that it will boot up properly.
