    If theres anyone out there that can tell me what graphics card i could get for my HP a6530f PC
    [ AMD Phenom X3 8450 Tri-core processor
    4GB RAM
    640 GB HD
    (currently have)NVIDIA GeForce 6150 SE Graphics card/chip
    AND windows vista home premium]

    I'd really appreciate it, cause I really REALLY want to play games with good visuals that runs smoothly.

    Depends how good your PSU is, you may need to replace that, and Compaq PSUs aren't always standard size so that could be a problem.

    Look on the box at the top of the PC where the power plug goes in (on the inside) and there should be a big label with numerous voltage (V) and current (A) ratings on it. Something like this:
    Either tell us what all those ratings are or provide a similar picture.

    dont have a cam but it says:

    DC Output: 300w
    Input: 100-127V `/8A 50-60 Hz

    OUTPUT: +5V == / 25A MAX +12 == /19A MAX. +5Vsb == / 2A MAX

    COMBINED POWER ON +5V AND + +3.3v RAILS NOT EXCEED 175W MAX.
    COMBINED POWER ON +12V AND +5V RAILS NOT EXCEED 268W MAX.
    CONTINUOUS TOTAL DC OUTPUT SHALL NOT EXCEED 300W

    Right, ok, on that basis you can stick to a midrange GPU but not a full powered one. Perhaps something like an 8600GT? It won't play top end games very well, but it'll do better than the 6150SE.
