Help Gota Big Problem

    Hello people i am having some seirous problems with a laptop i hav it is a acer aspire running windows xp sp2 i just resently formated the harddrive like a few weeks ago due to it running like crap i used the recovery disks that i made when i first got the computer and it had been working ok untill. Last night i turnd it on and it said something at the login screen i cant rember what it was but it said run dskchk so i did that and it seamed to have sovled the problem well so i thort it worked fine all night turned it off and went to bed now when i turned it on today it got to the login screen and the mouse wouldent work so i reset it and it started up and it runs a disk check with the blue screen and says press any key to cancel but no keys will work and if i let it scan some times its says its fine and other times fixs files ?????? After doing this a few times it started working for about 20mins then the mouse stoped working again so i reset againg and it just gets to the login screen and nothing works ??? I cant even press f2 or f8 or boot from a disk cause i cant press any bottens . Sorry for the long message but i cant figure it out any help would be great thanks :)

    Dont tell me,english was not your best subject,was it?Try to remember what it said on the log in screen.What files did check disk fix exactly?

    Eh?? you don't wait for the login screen to arrive before trying to get into the startup settings, bios.. drive order stuff like that.

    Get your xp disk out and boot from it.. wait a while and select setup.. wait a bit more and when asked (you have to read the screens) press "R" for the recovery console... it will give you options... chose boot with prompt.. and when you get to a black screen type in this

    fixboot and enter

    blah blah blah.. finished or something.....

    exit and enter

    machine will reboot.. take cd out and see what happens.
