I have tried numerous home movies to practice using DVD Shrink.
I always get the same error.
Something along the lines of:
"The disk in Drive D is copy protected!"
Ropes aren't made for pushing

Sorry about that folks. When I said "home movies", I meant movies that I had here at the house. They are actually commercial movies I bought. I'm a newbie - what can I say.
Regardless, I can't seem to copy them with
DVD Shrink .
I am using a new HP Pavilion laptop with a DVD writer built in.

Hi davinci8,
Try letting the movie play a bit with whatever media player you have and then opening Shrink, sometimes this will unlock it.
zcool's suggestion is right on also, Decrypter can usually decrypt movies that Shrink has problems with.
